The main advantages of anodizing aluminum and other metals are as follows
Cost
Anodizing is less expensive than painted coatings.
When considering the life of the coating, it turns out to be a cheaper option in the long run.
Hardness
It is harder than PVDF and is better for aluminum in high traffic areas where the coating is subject to physical abuse.
Move Integrity
These cannot peel, peel, chip, or blister. The cladding is a metallic element.
True metallic appearance
Anodizing gives aluminum a deeper, rich metallic look than organic coatings.
This is because the coating is translucent and the base metal can be seen under the coating.
Improved UV resistance
They have excellent long-term resistance to sunlight.
All other coatings will eventually fail due to UV light exposure.
Maintenance
These can be renovated by cleaning and are very cheap to keep for the life of a building.
It can be restored over and over again when it appears to have failed, many projects after twenty years of neglect are recovered as new through cleaning.
